I'm based near Bideford in North Devon and work across heritage, property, commercial and creative projects around Torridge, Devon, Cornwall and the wider South West. I'm a bit obsessed with places, especially old ones, and with recording them properly before they change.
One job might be a drone photography flight over a viaduct, the next a documentary film or a 3D model accurate enough for a scientist to work from. Often it's a few of those on the same project.
I've photographed professionally since 2003 and have a long background in software, mapping and technical systems. That combination is useful on projects where the output needs to be more than attractive: accurate, organised, reusable and properly delivered.
I also work alongside other photographers, studios and agencies where aerial capture, filming, 3D scanning or technical post-production would strengthen a project.
When I need a tool that doesn't exist, I build it. Frame Filter, which pulls the sharpest frames out of video for photogrammetry, started that way.
